USE AFTER BLEACHING
Bleaching agents used for tooth whitening often cause microscopic damage to tooth enamel, resulting in loss of sheen, hypersensitivity and early recurrence of stains. Studies show that mineral restoration by SANGI's nano<mHAP>, after or in conjuction with bleaching, can alleviate these problems. In particular nano<mHAP> has been shown to restore smoothness and mineral density to bleached enamel, resulting in better maintenance of gloss,1 while at the same time alleviating bleaching-related hypersensitivity2 and delaying the recurrence of stains.3
Teeth treated (a) or not treated (b) with nano<mHAP> after bleaching were immersed in red wine, then a stain remover (polyethylene glycol) successively for 3 cycles. Teeth in the nano<mHAP> group remained significantly whiter than controls.
